Seventy-seven neighborhoods, 41 helpers

My treasurer submitted the paperwork for the first 300 donations of $5 to the Auditor's office last Thursday, three weeks after I filed to run for the open Commissioner's seat using Public Campaign Financing. Another volunteer has now completed analysis of where those donations came from and who collected them.

Seventy-seven neighborhoods.

Forty-one volunteers talking with their friends and neighbors.

That's right, 41 Portlanders together collected donations in 77 of our 95 neighborhoods, in three weeks.

Citywide support. Citywide issues. Citywide collaboration of hardworking people with shared values and goals. That's why I'm running.
