My daughter Ali took this photo of my older son, Luke, giving me/my campaign $5 of his money, earned loading/unloading cargo at PDX when he returns home from Western Oregon University on weekends. Double cheesy grins.

Before the May 2006 primary, Luke gave an in-kind donation to my campaign, of ads on FaceBook targeted to students at Portland colleges and universities.

I love being mother to our three children. I love my job in nursing. Being a candidate for election to the Portland City Council has pros and cons, but I'm glad Luke thinks I'm worthy of his financial and emotional support. Check the grin.
